Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years. 40 Years for SC / ST / Category - I, 38 Years for OBC, 35 Years for General.

Educational Qualifications:

Forman -> Must be holder of a first class Diploma in respective branch of Engineering / Technology with three years experience in Industry / Institution recognized by the Government. Diploma must be equivalent to Diploma granted by Board of Technical Examinations.

Instructor -> Must be holder of first class diploma in the respective branch of Engineering / Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the Government or equivalent qualification to Diploma granted by the Board of Technical Examinations. Must have an experience of not less than three years in the field from an Institution recognized by the State Government.

Assistant Instructor -> Must be holder of a Diploma in the respective branch of Engineering / Technology with three years experience in a Industry recognized by the Government or equivalent diploma granted by the Board of Technical Examinations.

Mechanic -> Must have passed SSLC and must be holder of a Technician Certificate / ITI in the respective branch of Engineering / Technology awarded by the Department of Vocational Education, Karnataka. Department of Labour & Training.

Draftsman -> Must have passed Diploma in Civil of 3 years duration from a recognized Polytechnic Institution. Experience in Draftsmanship is desirable.

Assistant Administrative Officer -> Must possess a degree of a recognized University. Must have experience of not less than 8 years in a responsible administrative position in managing an office.

Registrar -> Must possess a degree of a recognized University. Must have experience of not less than 8 years in a responsible administrative position in managing an office.

Superintendent -> Must possess a degree of a recognized University. Must have experience of not less than 5 years in an administrative position. Must produce a record of good service.

FDC -> Must have passed a degree of a recognized University. Must have good command in English and Kannada and must have Experience in Computation work and in data compilation.

SDC -> SSLC or Equivalent Examination with Computer Knowledge.

Stenographer -> Must have passed a degree of a recognized University. Must have good command in English and Kannada and must have Experience in Computation work and in data compilation. Must have passed Senior Grade Shorthand from the recognized Govt. Institution (OR) Diploma in Commercial Practice with good command in English and Kannada.

Typist -> SSLC or Equivalent Exam pass. Kannada & English Senior Typing from the recognized Government Institution with Computer Knowledge.

Driver -> Pass in 7th Std. Holder of a current Driving License for Light or Heavy Vehicles. Possessing a certificate on first aid.

Helper (Laborartory) -> Must have passed SSLC and Must have put in a service of not less than one year in the respective branch of Engineering /Technology.

Attender -> Must have passed SSLC.

Helper -> Must have passed SSLC and Must have one year experience.

Sweeper & assistant Sweeper -> 7th Standard Pass.

Application Fee: Rs.600/- for General and OBC Category (Rs.300/- for SC/ST/Cat-I_. The fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Finance Officer, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
