Age Limit: 

18 to 32 Years as on 21/03/2014.

Age Relaxation:

 Up to 05 years for SC/ST; Up to 03 years for OBC; For PHP Candidates belonging to UR = 10years, SC/ST = 15 years & OBC = 13years; Up to the age of 40 years for Departmental candidates with 3 years continuous services; Up to 03 years in addition to the period of service rendered in the Defense services for Ex-Servicemen on production of Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen issued by Competent Authority.

Educational Qualifications: 

Passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination with ITI in relevant Trade - NAC/NTC issued by NCVT.

Selection Process: 

Written Test (100 marks shall be fully objective type and OMR based. The duration of written examination will be of 02 hours.)

On the basis of merit in written test, candidates to the extent of 1.25 times of the number of vacancies shall be called for the trade test. The result of the written test will be published in alphabetic order of names of the candidates to be called for the Trade test.

Application Fee:

 Rs.50/- through crossed Indian Postal Order (I.P.O.) or crossed Bank Draftissued from a Nationalized Bank in favor of 'THE GENERAL MANAGER OEF, KANPUR'. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman and PHP category and Female Candidates are exempted from submitting the Fee.
